Types and Characteristics of Hyperion Steel Fibers for UHPC
Hyperion Steel Fibers for UHPC mainly include copper coated steel fibers (tensile strength≥2850Mpa) and stainless steel fibers (tensile strength≥ 2000Mpa).
In terms of shape, these two types of steel fibers for UHPC can be divided into:
1. Straight steel fibers, the most commonly used and the best dispersible type.
2. Hook-ends steel fibers, which can strengthen structural anchoring, but the dispersibility is difficult to control.
3. Wave steel fibers, with a certain aspect ratio, have the largest bonding area.
In addition, the steel fibers cut by grade two steel wire are also very popular in UHPC, because they are the most cost-effective.
